Choose your pace

Stay longer in one base if you want time for neighbourhood wandering. Add Sukhothai when archaeology deserves its own days, with a separate transfer budget.

sukhothai · culture

Sukhothai’s surviving monuments make the development of Siamese art tangible. UNESCO identifies the historic town as a component of a property linked by shared urban planning and water systems. Look beyond individual Buddha images to the shape of the old city.

sukhothai · culture

Si Satchanalai adds another chapter to a Sukhothai heritage trip. UNESCO describes its religious role and ceramic-export history. That combination makes it worth considering for travellers interested in how a kingdom worked, as well as what its temples looked like.
