14 days in Thailand

Bangkok → Chiang Mai → Phuket. An editorial route framework, not a bookable package. Confirm every transport leg before reservations.

Published 19 October 2026 · bloggsandco editorial desk

Days 1–3 · Bangkok

Give the city two focused days after arrival.

Day 4 · Transfer north

Use a verified connection and leave the rest of the day open.

Days 5–7 · Chiang Mai

Stay in one base, with one optional outing rather than several commitments.

Day 8 · Transfer to Phuket

Check whether your chosen service requires a connection. No flight or fare is assumed.

Days 9–12 · Phuket

Use the town as a cultural chapter or choose a separate beach base; count any hotel move as a transfer.

Days 13–14 · Departure buffer

Arrange the return around your booked international route. Keep room for operational changes rather than promising a last-minute boat-to-flight connection.

Budget & booking assumptions

Accommodation, meals, local transport and admission are not priced into this route. Compare live quotes in THB and keep international flights, insurance and a contingency separate. The route assumes the proposed connections can be booked; if they cannot, reduce the number of bases.

Make it yours

Save reviewed places to your trip and assign them to days. Leave arrival and transfer days light. The planner stores data on your browser only and does not reserve anything.
