Bang Saen is one of the coastal choices identified by TAT in Chonburi. It works editorially as a beach-focused counterpoint to Bangkok: consider a simple seaside stop with room for regional food, rather than expecting an island-hopping itinerary.

TAT lists Sairee Beach among Ko Tao’s highlights. It offers a beach subject to build into a trip whose identity need not depend entirely on diving. Use the beach as a reason to leave unstructured time, while checking your chosen accommodation and transport separately.
