Bangkok or the beach? Start with the day you want

Begin with a day, not a destination name. Write down how you want to wake up, what you want to do after lunch, and whether you want your evening to unfold on foot.

If variety gives you energy

A city chapter can work when you enjoy choosing between different interests. Plan one main visit and leave the second half of the day responsive to your energy. Our Bangkok guide is a place to compare bases rather than a promise that every neighbourhood suits every traveller.

If repetition is the point

A coastal stay can be valuable because the days do not need to be different. Choose the exact accommodation and access arrangements carefully. A beach label alone says little about noise, steps or the cost of reaching dinner.

The short-trip compromise

Before adding both city and coast, count the transfer and the return required by your departure. If the result removes most of a full day, decide whether the contrast is worth it. You are allowed to save the other chapter for another trip.
